The pizza and noodles were not good Italian for me is something else

We found the staff to be very nice and the food, except for the ready-made soup, was very good, as it was freshly prepared.

The ambience and location are very nice, but unfortunately the pizzas have hardly anything to do with a decent Italian pizza, based on the annual stay in Italy, I can say that there is an immense difference.

A certain "class of quality" should be a prerequisite! The case of water with 12 bottles costs € 2.99 not in the offer. We pay € 4.50 for a bottle !!! The cheapest water in Bad Elster!

I think you would be stoned for this pizza in Italy! It doesn't help that the waiter speaks Italian to the guest. He was nice and quick, the beer was good. But every frozen food tastes better! Sorry, but after 4 weeks in Italy, the demands on an Italian pizza are significantly higher than this. The ingredients and the processing was poor.

The food was okay, there was no dressing for the salad, you have to make it yourself with balsamic vinegar and oil, salt and pepper, the staff is okay. Point deduction, because of the ambience. It's getting on in years. Nothing was cleaned, after Corona there would have been enough time. You could do a lot in the beautiful outdoor area. Replace the flower pots, a few flowers on the tables. Decent tablecloth etc. Too bad it could be made so beautiful with a little attention to detail.

I found him, I think it's the boss, very rude. He had put us (3 people) at one table and he came another 5 minutes and wanted us all three to sit at one side of the table because his employees had to pass the other side. I then asked for another table because it would bother me if we were all sitting on the bar next to each other like chickens and I find it annoying when the whole staff scurried past us only 30cm all the time. He gave me a very unfriendly scream. After we had another table, the food came at some point, it was ok, so rather mediocre but you could eat it. What bothered me was that there was mold and dirt on the window pane (the restaurant is a glass house) and that there were dead insects everywhere.

A chipped wine carafe, a moldy patio table with ugly wiping marks, a beer glass with a completely worn brewery print (see photos) long after the end of its service life, and moldy sunshades were enough for us not to eat anything there ...

Original Italian in Bad Elster. Dishes are rather simple and adapted to the local taste. Smart service from the boss personally. It is remarkable that the billing still works without a cash register, only on handwritten notes that are calculated together in the head. Hopefully he will find all the notes at the checkout ...

By far the best restaurant we found in Bad Elster. Well patronised which sometimes make the wait longer than usual. BUT the food is well worth waiting for! Everything in the menu that we’ve tried is just excellent! Menu selection is large. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Cozy ambiance too, being in a winter garden by the White Elster. The place, the food, the staff, can really warm you up every wintry day. Highly recommend to everyone who’d want a taste of Italian food and hospitality.
